The 5th Global Endotoxin Testing Summit will bring together the community to explore the most pertinent topics in the industry. Experts from the pharma industry, key opinion leaders, end-users and regulators will gather to share updates on hot topics and to learn from the practical experience of others. In collaboration with the Ecological Research and Development Group, a non-profit wildlife conservation organization whose primary focus is the conservation of the world's four horseshoe crab species, Summit attendees will travel to a Horseshoe Crab Sanctuary Beach (Pickering Beach, DE) to gain hands-on insight into the natural environment of the crabs, and to save horseshoe crabs stranded on shore. Attendees have opportunity to learn more about the ancient species so important to our industry.

Topics on our agenda this year include Recombinant Factor C, the history of pyrogen detection and future trends, Low Endotoxin Recovery studies, the evolution of endotoxin standards, data integrity in the QC Micro lab, case Studies of protein domains with focus on factor C molecule, overcoming interferences in the LAL test, Limulus studies in the Yucatan, endotoxin automation case studies, MAT testing in blood & plasma products and the biomedical industry’s role in horseshoe crab conservation and red knot migrations.
