Most CloneticsPrimary Cells are also available as proliferating cells in either flasks or plates, or as pellets in RNALater.
CloneticsCardiac Endothelial Cells include cells isolated from the aorta (HAEC), coronary artery (HCAEC), pulmonary artery (HPAEC), iliac artery (HIAEC), and microvascular cardiac cells (HMVEC-C). Additional donor characteristics including hypertension, or smoking history may be available by contacting Scientific Support. CloneticsCells, Medium and Reagents are quality tested together and guaranteed to give optimum performance as a complete cell system. Cryopreserved CloneticsTM cardiac endothelial cells are shipped in third passage.
Cryopreserved CloneticsHuman Cardiac Endothelial Cells express CD31/105, von Williebrand Factor VIII, and are positive for acetylated low density lipoprotein uptake. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lot purchased.
Recommended medium: EGM-2 BulletKitfor HAECs and HPAECs or EGMTM-2MV BulletKitTM for HCAEC, HIAEC and HMVEC-C
In addition to cryopreserved cell ampules Lonza also offers viable cells: Clonetics™ Proliferating Cells are available in a variety of convenient flask and plate formats.
Proliferating cells are delivered Tuesday-Thursday the week after initial plating. Confluency at the time of shipment varies by cell type. A new Clonetics™ Cryovial is used for each new batch using only Clonetics™ Media and Reagents. This procedure ensures viable cells of Benefits of Clonetics™ Proliferating Cells
